Friday, December 9th at 6:30 pm at Kodiak College in Benny Benson Building, Rooms 128-130




Join us at 6:30 p.m. to renew your membership, enjoy a slice of pizza, and sign-up for this year’s Christmas Bird Count. 

The talk will begin at 7:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to sharpen your skills for the 2022 count. 

This year the in-town count will be held on Sunday, December 18, and organized by Bill Pyle. To sign up, email bearisle.01@gmail.com

Robin Corcoran will organize the Narrow Cape and Chiniak count on Saturday, December 31. To sign up, email robin_corcoran@yahoo.com

The Return of Birding and Breakfast with Kodiak Audubon Society

 Its been since the Fall of 2019 that we have hosted a Birding and Breakfast event. 

Come join Kodiak Audubon for a light breakfast and birding from the duck deck on Potato Patch Lake. Join experts from Kodiak Audubon at this special event dedicated to birding and optics for outdoor enthusiasts.
This event will be an amazing opportunity to sample binoculars, spotting scopes, and tripods. Best of all, the event is FREE! 
Everyone who enjoys the outdoors is welcome: Bird Watchers, sportsmen and women, hikers, campers, and photographers.

Meet Lisa and Chandelle from the Alaska Bird Treatment and Learning Center and learn all kinds of things about his amazing feathered friends Qanaxsix, the Bald Eagle, and Girdie, the American Crow. 

Lisa will present Qanaxsix for the first 15 mins, and then Chandelle will present Girdie for 15 mins. A Question and answer session will follow.
