Winter Birds of Kodiak
Kodiak Audubon’s annual membership meeting and Winter Birds presentation
is Friday, December 7, 2018 Rich MacIntosh will present a slideshow with identification tips on
the Winter Birds of Kodiak. The event will be held at Kodiak College in rooms 128-130 of the
Benny Benson Building. Join us at 6:30 p.m. to renew your membership, enjoy a slice of pizza,
and to sign-up for this year’s Christmas Bird Count. The talk will begin at 7:00 p.m.
This is a wonderful opportunity to sharpen your skills for the 2018 count.
This year’s count will held in town on Saturday, December 15 and at Narrow Cape on Saturday, December 29 .
The mission of Kodiak Audubon is to conserve Kodiak's natural ecosystems focusing on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats for the benefit and enjoyment of current and future generations.

Kodiak Audubon Hiking Schedule 2018
Each year the Kodiak Audubon Society leads hikes in the Summer. Hikers learn the trails of Kodiak Island. Hikes are every Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30AM. Hikers meet at the downtown ferry dock. For more information please contact Cindy Bower 907-486-0499

Kodiak Audubon Program - April 2018
Kodiak Audubon’s April Program is being presented by Nils Warnock of Audubon Alaska. He will give a presentation entitled, “Alaska's Declining and Vulnerable Bird Populations” on Friday, April 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kodiak Public Library.
